Staff were knowledgeable and could steer you toward the right drink for your taste. Recommends the cold brew or, for something bolder, the Japanese-style iced coffee, plus a muffin on the side. Seating and outlets are limited.
Stay in the neighborhood

Roger visited during the start of pandemic lockdown and found a hustling, friendly team turning out old-school diner burgers he called In-N-Out-level, with fries he liked even better.

Roger's order at this Barrio Logan coffee shop with a Mexican-inspired menu: spicy watermelon lemonade and a horchata latte.

Roger long praised this in-house roaster's pour-over coffee and craft beer selection, but a later visit soured after a rude staff member gave attitude over a pour-over order.
