“Their "Chinese donuts" (黃饅頭) was fresh and cooked just right, especially when you dip it into the condensed milk.”
Two stars. The skewers were decent but ant-sized at yakitori prices, vegetable platters never arrived after 45 minutes, and nearly $90 left the table far from full. The fried mantou was the one thing Roger said was worth ordering.
Stay in the neighborhood

A longtime Convoy-area Japanese favorite for robata, small plates, and an intimate dinner that rewards ordering across the menu.

Roger rated this 5 stars, saying the Korean-Chinese style skewers are pretty close to Feng Mao in LA, right in the heart of Convoy.

Though it had been years since his last visit, Roger rated this restaurant 4 stars from memory, recalling delicious, filling seafood and bomb dim sum.
