Lock & Key

Koreatown, Los AngelesMixed

A speakeasy-themed Koreatown cocktail bar next door to Ramen Burger, where Roger found well-handcrafted whiskey cocktails but a packed, smoky patio and a crowd he called more K-Town than typical speakeasy hipster.

The call

The documented visit included whiskey-based cocktails. This record does not turn that order into a recommendation.

What to order

  • Whiskey-based cocktails

Best for

  • A speakeasy-style stop after a few drinks nearby

★★★☆☆
“It's got this speakeasy ambiance and theme.”

Roger had noticed the plastered-out crowd stumbling out of here for years while eating next door at Ramen Burger before finally checking it out. He liked the prohibition-era decor, the "secret entrance" doorknob gimmick and the handcrafted whiskey cocktails, but found the outside patio cramped and smoky and warned not to expect too much.
