“I'd totally come here for a bowl of noodles.”
Ly Heng took over the space formerly occupied by Hao Vi (好味), serving similar Teo Chew/Chiu Chow-style noodles. Roger said quality dipped somewhat under the new ownership but was still relatively decent, and recommended the Phnom Penh noodles served dry with soup on the side for the bone-marrow flavor.
Stay in the neighborhood

A small-batch roaster where, in Roger’s words, Ethiopian coffees are imported straight in and roasted in-house — and should be drunk black.

Roger’s pick for Cantonese roast meats in town: roast duck and char siu, bought early and paid for in cash.

Roger rated this 5 stars, saying that if you're looking for something different from the standard Asian restaurant fare in town, this place is a good change of pace.
