“The guacamole was decent though and if it wasn't for that, this burrito would have been just awful!”

East Village, San DiegoNot recommended

An East Village vegetarian/vegan Mexican spot Roger found rough around the edges: slow, unfriendly service and a vegan chimichanga with underwhelming, seemingly stale ingredients, though the guacamole was a bright spot.

Service took nearly 15 minutes to even take the order; the vegan chimichanga (tofu, no sour cream/cheese) tasted like it had been sitting a while, with hard rice and undercooked tofu. Roger notes the place has gone downhill since visits during his junior-high skater days.
