No longer feels as exclusive as a true speakeasy since it dropped reservations. Best before 8-9pm, after which it gets crowded and the live band makes conversation hard. Entrance is near 5th & Market, marked only by a law-office sign.
Stay in the neighborhood
A low-key rooftop whiskey-cocktail bar above a Gaslamp hotel; Roger says the list is smaller than Whiskey House or Aero's but the Old Fashioned or Sazerac still hits, alongside tasty tater tots.
