Roger rated this South Park coffee shop a full 5 stars, loving its cozy, homely feel, free wifi, plentiful indoor and outdoor seating, Thursday open mic nights, and late hours (open 24 hours Thursday through Saturday); he singled out a friendly night-shift barista named TJ, who'll remake a drink you don't love, and the resident cafe cat.

Open 24 hours Thursday through Saturday, with Thursday open mic nights and free wifi. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a homely, cozy feel. There's also a resident cat that roams around.
A small, dog-friendly South Park tasting room for Stone beers, a low-key alternative to the crowded Point Loma and Escondido locations, where a taster flight comes with a glass to keep.
A needed cafe/lounge for the Convoy area with puffles, coffee concoctions, and tea, which Roger reviewed during its soft opening — plenty of space with outlets, in a hip, modern remodel of the old Big Joy space.

Roger caught this Hillcrest donut-and-coffee shop mid-construction at the old Wienerschnitzel site and liked the fresh, hot donuts and strong-brewed coffee at the outdoor patio.
