Start with carne asada fries or horchata or cali burrito, and check the restaurant’s current menu before you go.

“you get a bang for your buck with quantity and quality!”

Second, later review of the same University Heights location, a month after his first. Argues Mexican food is at its best from a no-frills, "ghetto" looking joint like this one rather than a fancier-decor taco shop, going for carne asada or Cali burritos here for the quantity and quality. Notes you can pull into the drive-thru if you'd rather not deal with the occasional crackhead or beggar outside.

“The burritos here are huge and the carne asada fries are also great!”

First of two reviews Roger left for this University Heights location (Yelp shows it as a "previous review" collapsed under the later, current review). Has been hitting up this taco shop for years. Usually grabs carne asada fries and a horchata, then walks to a bench on the grass near the water to eat while watching the waves.
