A San Diego fried-chicken-and-coffee spot Roger found more worth it for its Intelligentsia pour overs than its pricey Korean-style double-fried chicken, which he called decent but nothing to get too excited about.

First visit was for a quick Intelligentsia pour over, where the donuts tasted mediocre. Came back later for breakfast and tried the Korean-style double-fried chicken, sweet and spicy with an extra-crispy batter, but flagged prices as high for fried chicken (about $14 for a half chicken, $25 for a whole). Said he'd return mainly for the pour overs.
