“Took ages to get our check too!”

Three stars. The food was great, but the server brought an unrequested birthday truffle, charged $1.50 for it, and took 15 minutes to bring the check. Roger’s July 1, 2013 Flickr post from the same birthday dinner lists the ahi tower, Jidori chicken and Portuguese garlic shrimp.

Roger rated this 4 stars, admitting he'd passed this Garnet Avenue breakfast spot for years -- by car, skateboard, and on foot -- always wondering about the long line, before finally trying it for breakfast.
