Two pints wear the Automatic Brewing Co. logo, and the glass copy explains the point: the beer was brewed right there in Normal Heights, at 3416 Adams Avenue.
Roger had been drinking at Blind Lady in February too, posting a Mother Earth IPA. This May visit was about the house beer — the rare chance to drink an IPA a few feet from where it was made.
