The SD Foodie take

Editorial commentary written from Roger’s original photograph and caption. Roger’s own words are the quoted photo note above.

The May collage shows takoyaki with mayonnaise, a thick slab of butter brick toast, a sweet bean soup and a plate of golden fried sweet potato balls. A week earlier Roger had posted honeydew soup with sweet potato balls and another brick toast.

The first visit came with sweets ordered before getting down to business. The second was the third stop of a night out, because their bellies were not satisfied yet. Two visits in a week, for two different reasons, says Tea Station had become a reliable default.
