Omakase in San Diego: Roger’s Two Counters

When Roger was asked in 2022 where to take a friend for sushi, he gave two answers and one instruction: Tadokoro in Old Town or Soichi in University Heights, and order the omakase. His one etiquette note: “Don’t forget to get a round of drinks for the sushi chefs behind the counter.” Both are special-occasion meals; check each restaurant’s current reservation details before you go.
