“Decent grub at some great prices that are well portioned!!”
Roger found the food decent, well-priced, and generously portioned at this since-closed Mission Valley location. (From an unpublished Yelp draft review, never posted publicly.)
Stay in the neighborhood

Good for one thing in Roger’s book: a dog-friendly patio. The Black & Bleu burger was bland on a cold bun.

Roger rated this Mission Valley Tender Greens 4 stars, noting it's bigger but also much more crowded than the other Tender Greens locations he's been to.

The Mission Valley outpost of The Kebab Shop, a chain Roger has followed since its East Village original (still his favorite location); lamb doner, shawarma and kebab plates all deliver, though parking and lunch crowds are the tradeoff.
