The call
A Chinatown izakaya Roger couldn't square with its high Yelp rating: watery ramen and udon, overcooked skewers, and an odd uni-over-baked-mochi special that came out tasting like stale gelatin.
“I don't understand why this place has so many good reviews and a 4-star rating.”

Ramen and udon both came out bland and watery; skewers (liver, gizzards, tongue) were so overcooked they were hard to pull off the stick, and a uni-over-baked-mochi special tasted like stale gelatin. Service was mediocre and the check needed correcting.
