Craving Hawaiian BBQ, Roger tried this Otay Lakes Road L&L location, finding it cleaner and more spacious than the National City spot he remembered; his usual BBQ mix combo of short ribs and chicken came in a huge portion best shared, with rice, mac salad, and he recommended the spam musubi for anyone who hasn't tried it.
Roger stopped by this Eastlake brewpub for beers on a packed Friday night with a reggae band playing; he found the beer quality disappointing for a self-described brew fanatic and didn't stay to eat, unsure about the food based on other reviews.
