This is the National City location of the L&L chain (a separate Chula Vista location was visited later, in 2008). Portions are generous -- a fat scoop of macaroni salad and two scoops of rice with most plates -- and the kalua pork is also very good. Staff are friendly and greet customers.
Roger favored this Chula Vista L&L over the National City location for being cleaner and better organized, ordering his usual BBQ mix combo of short ribs and chicken -- a portion big enough to share -- along with rice, mac salad, and a recommendation to try the spam musubi.
