Roger rated this sushi buffet 3 stars, calling it better than Todai but not great for real sushi fans, with a limited, Americanized selection and dry rice, though he recommended the green tea ice cream among the desserts.

Source-backed notes
“The best thing on the dessert section is the green tea ice-cream, ya'll gotta try it!”
Said the sushi/sashimi selection is limited and mostly Americanized (California rolls, veggie rolls), with dry rice that breaks apart -- not a spot for serious raw-fish fans, though the warm food and dessert selections were decent.
Stay in the neighborhood

Good for one thing in Roger’s book: a dog-friendly patio. The Black & Bleu burger was bland on a cold bun.

Roger rated this Mission Valley Tender Greens 4 stars, noting it's bigger but also much more crowded than the other Tender Greens locations he's been to.

The Mission Valley outpost of The Kebab Shop, a chain Roger has followed since its East Village original (still his favorite location); lamb doner, shawarma and kebab plates all deliver, though parking and lunch crowds are the tradeoff.
