Looking back
The SD Foodie take
Editorial commentary written from Roger’s original photograph and caption. Roger’s own words are the quoted photo note above.
The April collage shows the churrascaria rhythm: skewers of sausages and meat carved tableside, a large slab of beef, and a salad plate with grilled vegetables. The March visit showed filet mignon, top sirloin and tri-tip and servers carving from the skewer.
Roger posted Rei do Gado on March 4 and again on April 16, still in a major food coma the second time. Two all-you-can-eat Brazilian barbecue visits inside six weeks is its own review.
The quick critique

A downtown churrascaria Roger returned to fast — food coma both times.
